Robyn Rihanna - also known as Rihanna is a Barbadian pop singer, songwriter and musician. She has had hits like Pon de Replay, SOS umbrella, Take a Bow. Young and extremely popular singer-songwriter, she's one of history's best selling performers. Born in Barbados and had a childhood filled to reggae. When she began to sing, she became an accomplished singer. Unhappy with their chaotic home life as well as the constant arguments between her parents, she immersed herself in music, and soon realized she wished to become an accomplished singer. In high school she joined a musical group and was asked to audition with Evan Rodgers. The producer was very impressed with the talent of this teenager. She was then moved from the city of her birth to New York to start a career in singing full time. Rihanna became an instant hit as her debut album landed on the market. Her peppy foot-tapping songs were the most popular with the youngsters motivating her to get into film as well. Young and talented, her name is today considered a popular teen star and style icon. Rihanna makes use of her fame to do good and actively supports several organizations.
