Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actor and producer who is best well-known for her performances in the shows she was in Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and The TV show The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue is a film and theater actress who is an actor and producer. She started her career in the theater before appearing on a variety of TV series and independent and mainstream films. She came to prominence as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for which she not only received praise from critics but also many nods and awards. One of them was the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. Her debut on stage as Ariel In The Tempest. Her stage credits include Broadway productions of Joe's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In the film industry she is most famous for roles such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. On television her regular role on ABC's drama series about police High Incident has earned her accolades.
