Anamaria is a Romanian Actress. She won with the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress during the Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. She speaks French, German, English and Romanian fluently. Her father is the director of the theater at one of Romania's top acting schools. "The young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. She was chosen as an European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. An actress with Romanian descent Anamaria Marinca made her debut in the film industry in the TV series British-Canadian Sex Traffic for which she won the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. The role she played in the Romanian art-film 4 months, 3 Weeks 3 Weeks, and 2 Days is remembered as well. It was a huge success and won numerous accolades, such as being awarded the European Film Award Best Actress to London Film Critics. She starred as an actor from Romania in Romanian actress in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 months 3 weeks and Two days, 4 months (four months 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 three weeks and two days) that was awarded three weeks, four months and two days) which was awarded the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Additionally, she was a part in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, she played Yasim Anwar in BBC Mini-Series The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared in the Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. She later had a prominent performance in the 2014 film Fury where she portrayed a German woman known as Irma the aunt of Emma.
