Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American TV journalist who is currently associated with CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor on the channel's programs "Squawk on the Street" (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk in the Street' (CNBC). Although she is an Ohioan and was not particularly interested in currency and markets during her time in college. While at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. This was the place where she got her first exposure to business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's degree in broadcast journalism. The internship was for 4 months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. When she returned to the US, she began to work at Bloomberg's office in New York. She was a TV anchor later. CNBC appointed her as a reporter in December 2013. After having been a co-anchor of "Worldwide Exchange," and Power Lunch', she was recruited by CNBC in December 2013. She was then offered the job in the year following Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen is also co-anchoring "Squawk on The Street" since 2014. She is among the most reputable business journalists in the world today. Since joining CNBC, her primary concentration has been on the global news for consumers.
