In Whip It, her directorial debut film, she also appeared in the film. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as well as an Golden Globe Award. She was a prominent character on Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet. She currently hosts The Drew Barrymore Show, an NBC-owned talk-show.
